Its high nickel (~57%) and molybdenum (~16%) content give Alloy C-276 wire cloth excellent resistance to crevice corrosion and pitting in reducing environments. Its chromium (15.5%) content further provides excellent resistance in various oxidizing settings. Additionally, the low carbon (<=.01%) content of Hastelloy C-276 minimizes carbide precipitation during welding, allowing Alloy C-276 wire mesh to be used without subsequent annealing of the weld joints, even in severely corrosive environments. Some characteristics of Hastelloy C-276 wire cloth which dictate its use are:

One of the most versatile corrosion resistant alloys available.

Ideal for use in high-temperature, extremely corrosive chemical environments.

Superior corrosion resistance in broad range of industrial and chemical settings.

Able to resist corrosion against wet chlorine gas, chlorine dioxide, and hypochlorite.

Good for use in hydrofluoric acid; great for use against caustics and hydrochloric acid.

Excellent for use against pitting & crevice corrosion in chlorides, chloride stress corrosion cracking, and sulphuric acid.

Resists oxidation up to 1900°F temperatures.

Max operating temperature of 1800°F.

Can be cut, formed, and welded.

[15

0":"post-3774","1":"product","2":"type-product","3":"status-publish","4":"has-post-thumbnail","6":"product_cat-product","7":"desktop-align-center","8":"tablet-align-center","9":"mobile-align-center","10":"ast-product-gallery-layout-horizontal-slider","11":"ast-product-gallery-with-no-image","12":"ast-product-tabs-layout-horizontal","14":"first","15":"instock","16":"shipping-taxable","17":"product-type-simple
["GET
